Applications of BBa_J43000
This is a Hydrogen detecting composite part. It contains a TetR repressor that acts as a switch and an inverter.

The YFP is repressed with the addition of tetR and further repressed with hydrogen and tetR. This makes it difficult to test for a fluorescence change when the hydrogen concentration changes. the only fluorescence will be seen when there is no tetR present.
